Hello Dancers,
As most of you already know. Rookies has made a change and only wants me to teach the dance lesson and leave. Rookies doesn’t want to pay me to Dj after lessons. Only play the house music and leave.
You all have made it VERY CLEAR that you all want to Dance after the lessons and Rookies doesn’t understand this. So….. After talking with a majority of you, I have decided to try a different approach this Wednesday. I will play the music from 8 – 10:30pm as normal so everybody can dance after the lesson. There will be a Donation Jar by the stage. If you would like to dance after the lessons, please make a donation to keep the dancing going. If this works, we will continue our Wednesday Night Dancing. If this doesn’t work, we may have to find a different Venue and I am not sure where we can find one around Manteca!
Pass on the word that we will be back to normal this Wednesday. Let’s show Rookies that they want us there as much as we want to be there!
We have made a small change to Saturday Night Lessons. The lessons will be as follows:
5:30 – 6:15 pm – Beg/Int West Coast Swing
6:15 – 7:00 pm – Beg/Int Country 2 Step
7:00 – 7:15 pm – Line Dance
7:15 – 8:30 pm – Open Dancing
8-30 – – Band Plays

PS – Some of you have shown interest in dancing competitively. The UCWDC (United Country World Dance Council) will be having the World Dance Championship right here in our back yard! In San Francisco! So if you are interested in doing a Pro/Am (Where you will be dancing with Sue or Myself), please let us know! We have just over 10 months to get your ready. See us after the lessons on Saturday Night!
